Norway has short, light blond hair and dull blue eyes. He wears a belted, navy blue sailor top with a lighter blue collar, tie, and cuffs, with matching pants and sailor hat. He sports a Nordic Cross barrette in his hair, and has a detached haircurl that floats independently beside his head (which often has a dot that floats independently beside it).

Of the five Nordics, he is the third tallest. He speaks in a Tsugaru dialect.

Personality and Interests:

Norway is a mysterious man of few words and expressions, and is reclusive from the everyday world. He is often shown to have a troll or fairy with him, and has the ability to see and interact with various supernatural creatures.

Appearance:

Iceland has silver-white hair, described as being somewhat tousled or "bed-headed". He wears a deep brown military jacket, a white dress shirt with a ribbon tie underneath, deep brown straight-legged pants, and white half-laced boots. He also sports a pair of white gloves.
He's usually seen with a Puffin-like bird, which sometimes sports a pink bow-tie. Himaruya revealed in Volume 3 that his puffin's name is "Mr. Puffin" and what differentiates him from normal puffins is his black belly and pink bow-tie. Mr. Puffin looks cute, but speaks and acts like an Italian Mobster.

In his original character design and a header by Hidekaz Himaruya, his eyes were colored blue, though they were changed to violet in later artwork (such as a chibi version of him and his manga design sheet shown in the guide for the movie).

Out of the five Nordics, he is the youngest and second shortest.

Personality and Interests

He appears relatively cool and composed on the surface, but is warmer and passionate ("hot-blooded") deep down. Due to his recent financial problems, Russia has been helping him. Though he is treated kindly by him, he can't help but feel suspicious. He seems to be embarrassed when the other Nordics pester him to call Norway "Onii-chan".

Sweden has short, light blond hair and greenish-blue eyes. He wears a long blue overcoat with a matching hat, a black shirt and tie, and black pants, gloves, and boots; he also wears glasses. He is the tallest of all five Nordics; there is approximately a 12cm difference between him and Finland (the latter standing at about 170cm, which would make Sweden 182cm). He is the same height as Russia, making them the tallest out of all the nations to date.

Personality and Interests:

Sweden was once a viking and the "Conqueror Of The Baltic Sea", but now stands neutral in military matters; he has calmed down and currently puts his strength into welfare. He is silent and difficult to understand; his taciturnity is due to the fact that he was born in a cold area. Deep down, he is actually quite playful, but it's rarely shown because of his intimidating aura.

His hobbies include making furniture and art. It is said that his canned Surströmming can be used as a deadly weapon. He speaks in a Tohoku accent, often translated as grunts and truncated words.

Despite his silence, he apparently takes interest in arguments and debates.

Denmark has short, wild blond hair and blue eyes. He wears a long black coat with red cuffs, a red shirt and black tie, red pants, and brown boots, as well as a small black hat. He is the second tallest of the five Nordics and is often shown carrying around a large axe in artwork.

Personality and Interest

Denmark is said to be full of youthful vigor and humor, though he is also very stubborn and doesn't listen very well to others. As a result, he is known to be very controlling, bossy, and demanding, to the point where it is hard to get along with him.

He declares himself to be the "King of Northern Europe", and speaks in an Ibaraki dialect. He is also a heavy drinker.

has short blond hair and violet eyes (originally colored blue in some early illustrations tions, and are brown in the anime). He wears a light blue military uniform with a cross neck-charm on the jacket, and sometimes wears a white beret on his head.

He is the shortest out of the five Nordics and stands at 170 cm, but only when he's wearing a hat. There is approximately a 12cm height difference between him and Sweden.

He is also often shown in the role of Santa Claus, due to the fact that Santa is claimed to live in Finnish Lapland.

Personality and Interests:

Finland is described as being simplistic, gentle, and honest, as well seeming rather adult-like. He's very talkative, especially around Sweden, thinking up jokes to lighten the atmosphere. He displays also much strength when needed, making him quite frightening to anyone who gets on his bad side. He loves to think of interesting and unusual festivals that no other country could imagine, and actually likes the taste of salmiakki. He also happens to love saunas, and the Moomins.

Before gaining his independence, Finland used to be an underling. Out of the five Nordic nations, it is said that he suffered the most hardships in his life.

He has blond hair, blue eyes, and thick eyebrows much like England's. He wears a white sailor shirt with a blue collar, a matching hat, and blue capri pants, as well as white knee-high socks and black Mary Jane shoes.

Originally, Sealand's eyebrows were drawn somewhat thinner, while his sailor necktie lacked its "tails", and he wore shorts instead of capris. His eyes were also originally colored green, giving him a further resemblance to a younger England.In the game Noto-sama 6, his hair is colored a dark sandy blond, while his eyes are sea green.

According to the English dub of the anime, he has a large birthmark shaped like a transistor radio. However, the script was changed for the dub, and this is unconfirmed by the author.


Personality and Interests :

Due to the fact that he isn't considered an actual nation, none of the others take him very seriously. However, Sealand believes that someday he will become a huge empire that even his brother will bow down to.

Like his fort, he is actually made of steel and can fire a "Rocket Punch" that he believes is super powerful (though in actuality he can only do so when dressed up in a kids' mecha costume). He also tends to end his sentences with "desu yo", which is meant to give him a very enthusiastic flare.
